Shark Marine Technologies Inc. has been manufacturing unique products for underwater use since 1984. These products include camera systems, remote operated vehicles (ROVs), towed arrays, sonar platforms and tether management systems.
Our NAVIGATOR diver held sonar and navigation system is our most unique and popular product to date being used by navies around the globe for mine-countermeasures (MCM), explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) and rapid beach profiling operations (RBPS). Law Enforcement and Fire departments have selected the NAVIGATOR as their tool of choice for underwater search and recovery (SAR) operations as well as inspecting hulls and harbours for contraband and improvised explosive devices (IED). The NAVIGATOR has the ability to aid divers with identifying items in very poor visibility waters and to map their location for subsequent recovery or destruction. It's modular design and a readily available assortment of attachments allows it to be equipped for mission specific operations.
The MAKO Diver Delivery System interfaces with the NAVIGATOR sonar system allowing it to be programmed and operated as an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) as well as a diver propulsion vehicle (DPV). It can be pre-programmed with search patterns or sent to a specific target to deliver or pickup a dive team.
The NAVIGATORS user friendly Divelog software unites this plethora of valuable sensors and instruments into the most cost effective, search efficient tool available.
