Sharing with Event Organizers (for Events and Trade Shows)
When you register for or participate in a trade show using a digital directory or event platform provided by OEX (such as indodefence.sourcehere.com or the Seoul ADEX app), your personal data, including your name, email address, job title, and company name, and event engagement data (such as meeting requests, bookmarks, floorplan navigation, in-app messages, and usage analytics) will be shared with the organizer of that specific event.
Each event organizer acts as the independent data controller for the personal data shared in connection with their event. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy and applicable data protection laws. We recommend reviewing their privacy policy to understand how they process your data.
Your OEX profile is part of a single global account across Sourcehere.com, our subdomains, and our apps. However, personal data and event activity are only shared with the organizer of the event you are participating in. We do not share your personal data between different event organizers.
Where the organizer is located outside the EU/EEA, your data may be transferred internationally. We rely on safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other recognized transfer mechanisms, where feasible.
Company Accounts and User-Generated Content
Certain features of our platform allow companies and exhibitors to create organizational accounts, upload information, and manage profiles for their staff members. In these cases:
-
• The company or exhibitor is responsible for ensuring that any personal data they provide (including staff contact details) has been lawfully collected and shared with us.
-
• The company or exhibitor is responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they upload (including company descriptions, product information, images, and other materials).
-
• Company administrators may add or invite additional users from their organization. By doing so, the company confirms that it has obtained the necessary authority and consents to provide those users’ personal data.
-
• OEX acts solely as a data processor for such information and is not responsible for the substance, accuracy, or legality of content provided by companies or exhibitors
How Do We Store Your Data
OEX securely stores your data using the servers and cloud infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland (eu-west-1). Application and database servers function within Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud). The database containing visitor and usage data is only accessible from application servers.
All personal data you provide to us is part of a single account that can be accessed across Sourcehere.com, our event subdomains, and our white-label mobile applications. We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. You may delete your account at any time, which will result in the deletion of your personal data from our systems. Some data may be retained for a limited period if required for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (for example, for financial record-keeping or fraud prevention).
Marketing
OEX may send you information about products and services we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies.
If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may opt out at any time.
You have the right at any time to stop OEX from contacting you for marketing purposes or sharing your data with other OEX Group companies.
If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us at

Children and Minors
Our services are intended for use by individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you are an organizer of an event targeted at younger audiences (e.g., toy or family shows), additional privacy measures may apply, and the event organizer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable child data protection laws.
Sub-Processors
We use trusted third-party service providers (sub-processors) to support our operations, including AWS (hosting), Salesforce (CRM), Brevo/Sendinblue (email), Matomo (analytics), Stripe (payments), Visioglobe (floorplans), Microsoft (productivity tools), and Google (infrastructure and analytics).
These providers act as data processors on our behalf. We may update this list from time to time and will make updates available on this page.
Data Transfer to Third Countries
In some cases, personal data will be transferred to recipients in third countries (countries outside the EU and the EEA). In the USA, there is no comparable level of data protection as in Europe, and it is possible that government agencies may access personal data without our or your knowledge. The legal basis for such data transfer is generally your consent (Article 49(1)(a) GDPR) or the performance of a contract (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR). Where possible, we conclude EU Standard Contractual Clauses with our service providers.
In addition, when we provide data back to event organizers located outside the EU/EEA, such transfers may not benefit from the same level of data protection as within the EU. Where possible, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
