The WATR Center is committed to providing innovative and relevant programs of study for present and future manufacturing workers, that meet the demands of the fast-paced aerospace industry. The WATR Center's strong connection with the local industry means that they will teach you exactly what you need to know to excel in today's workforce.
Highlights of educational services we provide: 1) Year-round, we provide short-term training in Aerospace Manufacturing supporting the following core industry needs: Assembly Mechanic, Electrical Assembly, Composite, Tooling, and Quality Assurance 2) In 12 weeks students can earn two college certificates in Aerospace Manufacturing (and between 25 - 29 College Credits) 3) 8 of the 12 weeks are self-paced, online—access anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 4) The final 4 weeks of the 12-week program are done on-site in industry-replicated, hands-on labs/classrooms 5) A dedicated student coordinator is on-site to help with job searches, including customizing résumés and discussing interviewing techniques 6) Our innovative skills training leads to expedited careers in aerospace and other manufacturing roles 6) We are part of Edmonds College's Advanced Manufacturing Skills Center (AMSC), which includes training for Construction Pre-Apprenticeships, and manufacturing jobs in Marine (2023), AI & Robotics (2023), and Creative Technology.
