BioSAFE Engineering
BioSAFE Engineering is the global leader in the design and manufacture of energy efficient and environmentally friendly hazardous waste decontamination solutions for healthcare and life sciences.
All BioSAFE Effluent Decontamination Systems are engineered to safely neutralize effluent generated in biocontainment facilities using thermal or chemical sterilization processes. Our EDS designs are available from small units that integrate within laboratory cabinetry to large-scale systems that address the needs of entire facilities. We can also design for deployable, containerized requirements. Regardless of configuration, all units are turnkey and ready to operate upon delivery.
BioSAFE’s continuous flow thermal effluent decontamination systems use a closed-loop, continuous process that protects operators from exposure, achieves valid sterilization, and provides for improved heat recovery and energy efficiency.

BioSAFE Engineering designs, manufactures, installs, and services Tissue Digester Systems for the decontamination of tissue.
Over time, BioSAFE Engineering has expanded the capacity, speed, range, and mobility of these specialized Tissue Digester Systems to accommodate the needs of a constantly changing market environment. Our equipment is validated and in service throughout the world, working under standards and conditions that range from noncritical to highly infectious BSL-3 (Ag) and BSL-4 laboratories. From 11 lbs. (5 kg) to over 20,000 lbs. (9,000 kg) capacities.
