DS-1 Minotaur™ - Quadcopter Drone
Airgility
The DS-1 Minotaur™ is a highly maneuverable and agile quadcopter drone designed to navigate the most complex of environments. Equipped with Autonomous Sensory Intelligence powered by Airgility, it achieves an advanced understanding of its environment and is capable of making intelligent decisions through sensor-based-mapping in GPS-denied areas. This software contributes to Level 4A-Autonomy, where human interaction is not required in most circumstances but manual override remains an option.
With a continuously upgradeable modular payload system, the DS-1 Minotaur™ is capable of achieving an endless variety of mission-integrated solutions. The modular plug and play design allows for the user to equip the drone with a variety of sensors, recognition software, and other customized payload solutions for whatever the mission may require.
Through the usage of collision avoidance and lagless control, the DS-1 Minotaur™ achieves mission intelligence and autonomy. This contributes to a simplified Point and Fly flight system with easy-to-train controls, meaning the vehicle can successfully be piloted by anyone with only 15 seconds of training. With the ability to map and navigate unknown environments with near-complete autonomy, the DS-1 Minotaur™ is worthy of its title as the King of the Labyrinth.

Ideal for missions where sacrifice of the aerial asset is acceptable or desirable, such as Counter- Drone, First Responder, ISR, and Special Operations.
About
Airgility is an early-stage unmanned aerial systems company uniquely combining:
Engineering: We combine the best characteristics of a helicopter, fixed wing aircraft, and quadcopter to create unmanned aerial systems with great flight efficiencies.
Performance: The engineered flight performance enables us to include higher level on-board computing without loss to flight time.
Effectiveness: The higher-level on-board computing allows the implementation of in-flight algorithms and AI to de-risk flight operations and enhance mission autonomy.
Adoption: We have a common architecture across multiple platforms allowing us to address multiple use cases with far less integration and effort than other platforms.
Manufacturing: 3D printer friendly design, vehicle body structure over 90% printed for quick scalability, engineering response to need, and part creation.
