Large Aluminum Monolithic Aerostructure Components

WHI's machining operation M&M Manufacturing located in Tulsa, OK is WHI's COE for high-speed aluminum machining. Utilizing our Makino Mag 3 work cell with it's 10 Pallet system allows lights out capability
5 Axis w/ A&C in head allows 5 face machining and reduced setup improving quality and throughput. This work cell with it's large work envelope allows us to produce large monolithic parts such as
Wing Ribs, Bulkheads, and Beam Components.
Landing Gear Forgings
WHI Global- M&M Manufacturing
WHI's Crow Precision Components builds both ferrous and non-ferrous forgings up to about 300 lbs. finished weight. Crow has over 5000 die tools serving most platforms flying today. Should a new die tool be required, Crow's in-house die sinking and NADCAP NDT and Heat Treat Approvals help to contribute to industry-leading reduced new product introduction (NPI) lead times.

WHI's Aerobond Composites located in Springfield, MA specializes in composite door, escape hatches and structural assemblies. Aerobond has extensive experience with composite fabrication including honeycomb and aluminum core structures, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and kevlar. Aerobond is also well versed in metal bonding, rulon/teflon bonding and rubber vulcanization. Partnering with sister WHI machining operation--M&M Manufacturing in Tulsa, OK for all required metal structural and machining detail requirements--Aerobond--and WHI can reduce your supply chain complexity and offer you a seemless turnkey solution.

WHI maintains an inventory of over 5,000 forging dies as well as an extensive array of composite tooling and machining fixtures to expedite the production of replacement and/or spare parts.
