Customer Service
RAM - Research & Advance Methods, Inc.
RAM Inc. is dedicated to providing superior customer service to all our customers on a day to day basis. The accepted customer service standard for the industry is to deliver “Conforming Components On Time”. At RAM we believe that customer service entails more. Our customer service commitment includes design support to assist our customers in developing their products in the most efficient and producible manner. We have team members trained in various problem solving techniques such as A3-8D, 5-Why, as well as the use of Ishikawa diagrams to identify root causes of issues. When problems arise we assign a team to investigate, evaluate, and provide corrective action coordination.
Our engineering staff works closely with our customers’ engineering teams. Our management has placed a primary emphasis on providing excellent engineering support to develop processes that will provide consistent component quality and reliability. Many of RAM’s customers rely on the support of RAM’s engineering staff to assist in the development of their products.

RAM - Research & Advance Methods, Inc.
RAM Inc. is a manufacturer of custom molded components. The primary materials that we use to produce our components are Composite Engineered Thermoplastics and Thermosets. We produce products for many high tech industries including aerospace, defense, energy, medical, as well as commercial applications.
RAM’s engineering staff is dedicated to assisting our customers in developing products that meet the functional requirements and provide the best value. To develop our processes and procedures we use PFMEA and DFEMA tools to ensure that our products are manufactured to the exacting standards of our customer’s needs. Our engineering staff has also been trained in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) which helps us to understand the specification requirements and consistently meet those requirements during the actual production run at the quoted production rate.
You will find a complete list of materials that we currently use on the materials page. Our most prevalent material is PolyEtherEtherKetone (PEEK) which is a high performance engineered thermoplastic. PEEK grades offer chemical and water resistance similar to PPS (PolyPhenylene Sulfide), but can operate at higher temperatures. PEEK can be used continuously to 480 degrees F (250 degrees C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, PEEK is a high strength alternative to aluminum. PEEK carries a V-0 flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame. Although PEEK requires high processing temperatures, it can be processed using modified standard. This material has been used in many component applications that are transitioning from metals to thermoplastics.

People
About
RAM Inc. is a woman owned Christian oriented business. We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service on a daily basis.
RAM (Research Advanced Methods) Inc. was founded in January 1990 by R.D. (Bob) and Diann Morris. Bob and Diann had over 40 years combined experience in the Aerospace Industry. Prior to founding RAM, Diann’s experience was in Procurement and Configuration Management at Bell Helicopter Textron, and Program Control and Manufacturing Cost Management at Northrup Grumman Corporation. Bob had previously lead teams in Contracts Administration and Research and Development Operations Management at Bell Helicopter Textron, and was Manager of Assembly and Manufacturing Engineering at ITT Aerospace Controls.
Bob spent seven years (in the mid 1980’s) at ITT Aerospace researching, developing, and implementing a method of injection molding PEEK and other high temperature thermoplastic parts to replace aluminum and cast components.
As an early innovator, Bob recognized a need within the Aerospace industry and set out to pursue solutions. RAM Inc. was born from this vision and today is a Custom Injection and Compression Molder of High Temperature Engineered Thermoplastic and Thermoset material for components in both Aerospace and Commercial Industry applications.
