Horizontal Skid Packages
ARC Energy
A horizontal skid package is a modular, self-contained unit used in gas processing and production, where all the necessary equipment is assembled onto a single, stable steel frame or "skid". It integrates various components—like vessels, pumps, piping, valves, and control systems—into a compact, space-efficient package. The modular design allows for standardization and quick implementation.
Coolers
ARC Energy
Used to control the temperature of a process stream. Coolers are generally forced draft but can also be natural draft. Forced draft units are available with gas engines or electric motors. Process Coolers are exchanger heat with the ambient air and used to reduce gas and liquid well stream temperatures to allow further processing.
Filter Separators
ARC Energy
This category includes all types of Gas Filtration units, both Horizontal and Vertical. Filter Separators are designed to remove liquids and solids from a gas stream. Coalescers are designed to coalesce small droplets into larger droplets so they can be separated from a gas stream. Horizontal Filter Separators and Coalescers may have one or two sumps/boots depending on the capacity for free liquids. Dry Gas Filters are for removing solids only and do not include secondary separation, sumps or liquid handling.
BTEX
ARC Energy
A BTEX Unit incorporates a Condenser, either natural draft or forced draft, to capture and recycle BTEX and V.O.C. from the re-generator still column. Condensed liquids are collected and transferred to storage, while the residual V.O.C. vapors are sent to a combustor, reboiler burner or to compression. BTEX Units are used to capture benzene, toluene, ethyl-benzene and xylene (BTEX) and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the still column of triethylene glycol (TEG) re-generators.
Plants
ARC Energy
ARC's Plant category includes all types of processing equipment. Amine Plants, JT Plants, Topping Plants, Refrigeration Plants, Cryogenic Plants, Membrane, NRU, PSA, Stabilizers, Refineries.
Exchangers
ARC Energy
Heat exchangers move heat from one process stream to another. While the exchanger's purpose is to heat or cool one particular stream, it will have the opposite affect on the other stream. They may be gas to gas, gas to liquid, liquid to liquid or a combination. Most exchangers are designed for just two streams, but there are also compact exchangers that accommodate multiple streams.
Towers
ARC Energy
This category is primarily for all types of Contact Towers. Bubble Cap Tray, Structured Packing or Random Packing. These are used for mass transfer or contacting gas and liquids. Commonly used in TEG dehydration, Amine absorbers and similar services.
