A 100% state-owned company founded in 2021 under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence. Its primary goal is to support the Hungarian defense industry, as well as to develop and strengthen export activities, which aim at long-term sustainable domestic defense industry production and research and development.
The Hungarian government has appointed the Hungarian Defense Export Agency with the exclusive right to assist in the sale of products declared unnecessary for national defense purposes (incurrence), to carry out the relevant procedures and to prepare the sales.
VEX concludes cooperation agreements with Hungarian defense industry companies, and also ensures that the products and services are presented at international defense industry exhibitions at a uniform Hungarian stand.
