The 105 m Oceanographic Research Vessel is a type
of ship used by the Indonesian Navy for
hydrographic surveying, underwater detection, and
oceanographic research.
Indonesia's newest BHO Vessel, currently under
construction, is slated for completion by December
2025. This new ship will be 105 meters long, 17.4
meters wide, and will have a top speed of 16 knots. It
will be equipped with advanced technology for its
missions and is expected to surpass the capabilities
of the existing Rigel-class kapal BHOs.
