Eiger Adventure (EIGER) was established in 1989, as a brand providing equipment and tools for the lifestyle of nature enthusiasts. Sheltered under PT Eigerindo MPI, EIGER was born in Indonesia by Indonesians with the aim of becoming a friend and protector for anyone who wants to explore tropical nature, especially Indonesian nature. The name EIGER itself comes from the name of a mountain with an altitude of 3,970 meters above sea level located in the Bernese Alps, Switzerland, Europe. This mountain has a very famous reputation because it is one of the most difficult and dangerous mountains to climb in the world. One side, namely the North Face, is considered one of the most challenging climbing routes in the world, because it has a steep ice rock surface, a long climbing route and frequent rock avalanches, and unpredictable weather.
Since 2015, EIGER has focused its products on outdoor activities in tropical climates, which is now EIGER's tagline, namely "Tropical Adventure". This is reflected in three EIGER product categories, namely Mountaineering, Riding, and Eiger 1989 (Lifestyle).
