The rapid growth of the aviation world and also along with the rapid development of technology, competent and disciplined human resources are needed to answer these challenges. Indonesian pilots as one of the pillars in the aviation industry are obliged to actively participate in building a safe, quality and reliable aviation system in accordance with the rules of their profession.
The pilot profession is a profession that is full of various rules and also high standards in carrying out its duties, so that its role and function in a flight are very significant in every flight mission. The role of pilots is one of the links and the creation of a safe and healthy aviation climate. The role of pilots cannot be separated from the role of regulators, business actors, consumers and manufacturers themselves.
Indonesian pilots as partners of the government in realizing and developing a safe, quality and reliable aviation system. With this realization, Indonesian aviation can meet the standards of regulatory compliance, guarantee the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and the absorption of Indonesian human resources.
The size and shape of the Indonesian state are very large potential for the development of the aviation industry. To realize the above intentions, it is necessary to have an organizational forum that is able to develop every potential of Indonesian Pilots spread throughout the world, so a professional organization called the Indonesian Pilot Association was formed.
