Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has served its community for more than 120 years with care characterized by its compassion, innovation and effectiveness. Founded in 1898, Roswell Park today remains the only comprehensive cancer center designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Upstate New York, and one of only four NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers in all of New York.
The work of the Roswell Park team encompasses many different disciplines and approaches, all rooted in some aspect of how cancer affects our lives — and in how a solution today can lessen that impact tomorrow. Roswell Park has been credited with establishing the model for today’s multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
