Rocket Launcher
CTLA
From the rocket launcher to its upper assembly, the bomb rack unit, completing a full weapon system as one set.
The rocket launcher is a weapon system independently designed to launch guided missiles or rockets through 7-tube and 19-tube launchers, enabling both single and multiple firings.
Through its development, independence of the weapon system has been secured, and structural stability has been achieved by applying a design that considers aircraft vibration and aerodynamic effects.
In addition, it is equipped with the capability to receive the system’s firing signal and ignite the rocket.
Based on the successful development in 2017 of the 7-tube 2.75-inch rocket launcher assembly for helicopters, the company is now independently developing upgraded versions of the 7-tube and 19-tube rocket launcher assemblies.
Through this effort, we are securing scalability for application to next-generation helicopters and UAV systems.

Engine Start Begins with ATS.
The Air Turbine Starter (ATS) is a key component of an aircraft's secondary power system, driven by Bleed Air supplied from the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) to accelerate the engine up to approximately 8,900 RPM, enabling engine start.
Through the in-house development and localization of the ATS, we have incorporated power generation, optimal design of the shear section with consideration of failure, Containment functionality, as well as lubrication and power transmission systems.
In addition, we have secured manufacturing and assembly technologies and continue development aimed at successful operation and the establishment of a mass production system.

무장장착대(Bomb Rack Unit & Pylon Unit)
CTLA
The first step toward armed helicopters
The Bomb Rack Unit (BRU) is a device installed on a helicopter’s Stub-wing to mount various armaments such as rocket launchers and air-to-ground missiles, and it consists of a Pylon Unit and a Bomb Rack Unit.
CTLA’s Bomb Rack Unit is equipped with a Boresight function that allows vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) angle adjustments, and a solenoid-actuated free-fall weapon release (Jettison) method is applied.
CTLA’s Bomb Rack Unit has passed the system tests for the Light Armed Helicopter (LAH) and received suitability certification, and it is currently in mass production.

T/FA-50 PTO Shaft, The New Standard for Next-Generation High-Speed Rotating Power Transmission
The power transmission shaft (PTO Shaft) applied to the T/FA-50 features in-house designed, optimized flexible couplings that provide excellent durability. In addition, the adoption of high-speed precision balancing technology effectively suppresses vibration and ensures shaft oscillation prevention.
While it shares a similar form with the KF-21 power transmission shaft, the T/FA-50 PTO Shaft incorporates unique, dedicated technology, making it distinct. The system development has been completed, and performance improvements are continuously underway with the goal of localization.

KF-21 동력전달축(Power Take-Off Shaft)
CTLA
PTO SHAFT, Proven Performance, Realized in Reality
CTLA's Power Transmission Shaft (PTO-shaft) is a key component of the aircraft secondary powertrain, transmitting the high-speed rotational power generated by the aircraft engine drive unit (EMAD) to the gearbox (AMAD).
By applying high-strength, lightweight titanium material for the first time in the world, we have achieved both weight reduction and durability, while implementing outstanding stability and reliability through our proprietary electron beam welding technology optimized for high-speed rotation and high-speed precision balancing technology.
In particular, this product, which is currently being mass-produced and delivered to the KF-21 fighter jet, has demonstrated excellent power transmission performance while minimizing vibration even in extreme environments.
CTLA is leading technological innovation in the field of high-speed rotational machinery, spearheading the self-reliance of domestic aircraft components and advancing into the global market.

About
CTLA is a rapidly growing company specializing in high-speed rotating components for the aerospace industry.
We have boldly taken on the challenge of localizing core aerospace components, an area considered difficult by many, and have achieved significant results.
In the fixed-wing sector, we successfully localized the PTO Shaft—which transmits high-speed rotational power from the engine and gearbox of the T/FA-50 and KF-21—by applying lightweight titanium, and this product is currently in mass production and supplied for the KF-21.
We are also developing the Air Turbine Starter, an engine starter for the KF-21, as part of our localization efforts.
In the rotary-wing sector, we have localized the weapon mounting system, a core component of the LAH (Light Armed Helicopter), and are currently mass-producing and supplying it.
Furthermore, based on our successful experience and technology developed through a defense venture project for rocket launcher development—which is currently entirely imported—we are proceeding with its localization.
CTLA is committed to contributing to the localization of key aerospace components and expanding into the global supply chain—leading the future of K-Defense Industry.
