The Defense Industry Mutual Aid Association was launched on July 1, 2021, with the approval of the Minister of Defense Acquisition Program Administration in accordance with Article 20 of the Act on the Development and Support of the Defense Industry in order to promote
autonomous economic activities of defense companies and sound development of the defense industry. The association strives to increase the interests of its members by providing guarantees necessary for the execution of defense projects, as well as new implementation of various mutual aid projects for manufacturing and production facilities and efficient management of funds. It also contributes to reducing the defense budget and reducing the financial burden on its members with low fees . The association will continue to support the sustainable development of its members and strive to establish itself as a specialized mutual aid organization for the defense industry.
