The first company of the Uyar Group of Companies was Akdağ, which started operating in 1978. Demsan Sigortacılık Ltd. Şti. was established in 1982 and Uyar Group of Companies, which expanded further with Transanka in 1986, began to meet the needs of its customers regarding security, fire detection and extinguishing systems. In 1988, Transvaro was established with the partnership of an American company. Transvaro, which would become a 100% Turkish Capital organization in 1994, began to serve the Turkish Defense Sector with a very wide range of products.

Uyar Group of Companies entered the tourism sector with Golden Key in 1996 and started to serve local and foreign tourists with venues designed in the style of boutique hotels in Europe. In 1997, UNIFO Food Industry and Trade Inc., operating in food industry products, was established.
