We are developing an autonomous legged robot solution that overcomes the limitations of wheels and can freely navigate rough terrain such as stairs and mountain paths.
RaionRobotics was founded in October 2023 as a spin-off from the RAILAB in KAIST’s Department of Mechanical Engineering. Leveraging world-class legged locomotion technology and in-house robot design expertise, we have developed the quadrupedal walking robot RAIBO.
Our mission is to create robots that can walk wherever humans can, taking on difficult and burdensome tasks. In doing so, we aim to address labor shortages and contribute to building a safer society.
