PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) is Southeast Asia's sole aerospace company with expertise in aircraft design, production, certification, and after-sales services. Specializing in light and medium aircraft, PTDI has delivered 478 units to 50 operators worldwide since 1976, including the CN235, NC212, and N219—the first fully Indonesian-made aircraft certified in 2020. An amphibious version of the N219 is under development to enhance inter-island connectivity.
PTDI also produces helicopters in collaboration with Airbus Helicopters, Bell Textron and currently, Lockheed Martin.
In aerostructures, the company supplies components to Airbus, Airbus Defense & Space, and Boeing as a Tier 2 supplier, with plans for further expansion.
In the Engineering Services, the company has capability to produce FFAR and WAFAR 2.75” rockets. Besides, PTDI is also conducting UAV development, with products like the Wulung (has been certified in 2016) and MALE Class UAV (under development),
Not only the aircraft manufacturer, as a one-stop service solution program to the customer, PTDI has the Aircraft & Engine Services portfolio to ensure the serviceability of all the aircraft that has been delivered to conduct the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul. Besides, PTDI also can perform modification up to major level, and upgrade not only for PTDI products, but also for non-PTDI products. The full-capability of the engine services is conducted through PTDI subsidiary, PT NTP.
