National Veteran Development University Jakarta, hereinafter referred to as UPN Veteran Jakarta, is a state university within the Ministry of Education and Culture which is domiciled in South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Province and has campuses in Depok City and Bogor Regency, West Java Province.
The basic principle of UPN Veteran Jakarta itself is the development of science and technology based on universal and objective values in achieving scientific truth; the implementation of the tridharma of higher education is based on faith, freedom, and academic responsibility as well as Sesanti Widya Mwat Yasa; and improving good governance of UPN Veteran Jakarta is characterized by implementing independent, modern, and sustainable management. UPN Veteran Jakarta is a university that has the characteristic of National Defense.
UPNVJ is located in the capital city of Jakarta, has highly competent faculties, research and community service activities that are increasingly being felt by stakeholders, a complete library, infrastructure and laboratories, adequate development of information technology, alumni with good job positions in several ministries, private companies and entrepreneurs.
These potentials are meaningless if not based on a strong vision, mission, goals and academic targets. For that, we strive to always be committed to realizing UPNVJ as a highly competitive State University with the identity of Defending the State.
In the future, we hope that UPNVJ, which is entering its 4th year of state-owned universities, can continue to improve the quality of learning with the determination to become a state university that is on par with other state universities that have previously become superior state universities.
