About
Etihad Airways Engineering based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, offers industry leading aircraft maintenance and engineering solutions including heavy maintenance, component repair, and technical training to customers from all over the world.
We take pride in the reliability and on-time delivery of our services, and are driven by a dynamic culture of excellence in everything we do. We have vast experience in providing total maintenance solutions for Airbus and Boeing aircraft, offering light and heavy maintenance including, but not limited to, advanced composite repair, cabin refurbishment and component services around the clock from our facility adjacent to Abu Dhabi International Airport. Cutting edge processes and solutions are used at the facility from a dedicated centralised planning and control (CPAC) facility for heavy maintenance to automated tool management and live dashboards across the business to monitor the progress of every project in real time. Etihad Airways Engineering is the first organisation in the Middle East to be granted an extended Part 21J Design Organisation Approval by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to undertake major cabin design and modification.
We are also the first MRO in the world outside Europe approved by European Aviation Safety Agency for Production Organisation Approval, under EASA Part 21G. Our investment in new technology, skills and MRO capability has enabled us to offer services for Boeing 787, Airbus A350 and Airbus A380 aircraft and we are building our capability for new platforms like the Boeing 777X to support the world’s leading fleets. Through our years of experience in supporting fleets worldwide, we have gained robust expertise in managing entry and return of leased aircraft. New programmes are entering the market to serve the growing fleets of our customers worldwide. Situated at the very heart of one of the world’s most prolific aviation growth markets, Etihad Airways Engineering is spearheading Abu Dhabi’s vision of being a global aerospace hub and playing a crucial role in supporting economic growth and diversification in the United Arab Emirates.
