                    		Our History
Following a career in the Canadian diplomatic service and the civil service, founder Louis Bibeau spotted a unique business opportunity and moved into the neckwear industry. In 1993, he invented a concept that combined design, information technology and innovation to deliver every aspect of a uniform program from A to Z. He used this visionary approach - now called "managed clothing solutions" or "managed services" and widely adopted around the world - to make a bold, successful bid and thus began acquiring clients in Canada and abroad.
Today, Logistik Unicorp is a world leader in the delivery of solutions, services and products that make people in uniform look good, feel comfortable and secure.
A socially conscious company
At Logistik Unicorp, we believe that companies should be stewards of change. Our commitment to the community includes:
Tangible actions that reduce the toxic burden on the environment. We were the first company in Canada to enforce strict standards for formaldehyde content in the garments we produce.
Policies that protect our partners and suppliers worldwide.
Access to resources that encourage the health and well-being of our employees.
Shrinking our carbon footprint
We were the first private company in Canada to obtain LEED Gold certification for new construction. Our LEED Gold-certified office facility is surrounded by 200,000 square feet of grass field and 2 ponds with natural filtration. We also use geothermal heating and cooling, biodegradable cleaning products and packaging materials, and collect rainwater.
Ethical sourcing
Logistik Unicorp ensures that the people who make our garments - wherever they work in the world-earn a fair wage and work in a safe environment.
Responsible management practices
Social and corporate responsibility is an ongoing process. Logistik Unicorp has pursued and completed several international certifications and standards:
ISO 14001: Environmental Management System
OHSAS 18001: Occupational health and safety management systems
