Andrea Pesce

Andrea brings extensive expertise as a strategic advisor, leveraging her background in strategic alliance management, program development, and technology commercialization to support DART’s focus areas on workforce development, and innovation, entrepreneurship and business development. Previously, Andrea held leadership roles as the Director of Industry Alliances in the Innovation and Business Engagement Hub, and Director of Industry Alliances and IP Licensing at UC Santa Cruz. Her early career involved licensing intellectual property at Stanford University’s Office of Technology Licensing, and partnering and business contracts at a biotechnology research company. Andrea holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of New Hampshire, an M.S. in Biology from San Diego State University, and has earned several professional certificates including in energy innovation and emerging technologies from Stanford University.
