World Trade Center San Diego (WTCSD) is the international economic development team at the San Diego region’s primary EDO, San Diego Regional Economic Development Corp (EDC). WTCSD helps companies to establish operations in Southern California, leveraging San Diego's highly skilled workforce, advantageous position along the US-Mexico border, and heavy concentration of military commands, installations, and assets. Through its membership of 180 of the region's largest companies and institutions, WTCSD connects foreign investors to one of the world's premier defense & aerospace hubs.

WTCSD is interested in meeting with companies in the UAS and C4ISR space that are interested in co-innovating with institutional partners such as the Navy and academia (UCSD, SDSU, USD, etc.). Introductory meetings can pave the way for future progress when WTCSD brings a follow-on delegation to Paris and Marseille in September 2025 for an official trade mission led by US Congressman Scott Peters.
