Before joining Acorn, John had over 20 years of government service in multiple agencies including the United States Army, U.S. Department of Defense, and the US State Department. He served in a variety of special operations, national security, and diplomatic roles. Following his government service, John founded the international sports management firm, Sporting Global. He currently serves as the Oklahoma State Secretary for Military and Veteran Affairs.
