In 2018, members of our team, and inventors of the original Steribin concept, recognized the health risk passengers faced at commercial airports. Studies showed that the security bins (where you place your belongings in the security line) were more than 18 times more contaminated than the toilets in airport restrooms! We knew something had to be done, and we launched Steribin with our Model A1 designed specifically for airport security bins.
