The Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology (KIAST) has established an integrated aviation certification system for the Republic of Korea through aircraft certification, safety certification of light aircraft and ultralight flying devices, performance conformity certification for air navigation safety facilities and performance certification for aviation security maintenance, thereby contributing to the development of the domestic aviation industry and the enhancement of safety.
