About
Airborne Systems has been the world’s most trusted resource for parachute design and manufacturing for over 100 years. We create and produce best-in-class parachutes for military applications, GPS-guided precision cargo delivery systems, low-cost cargo delivery parachutes, parachute releases, personnel and cargo systems, rescue and survival equipment, space and air vehicle recovery systems, and deceleration systems for high-performance aircraft.
We design and manufacture personnel parachute systems, including the T-11 troop parachute, the steerable MC-6 for precise drop zone landings, the Intruder®/RA-1, the MMS for Special Forces, and our latest innovation, the Marauder Parachute System. Additionally, we develop SOLR® oxygen systems for HALO/HAHO missions.
Airborne Systems is the undisputed leader in the design and development of Entry, Descent, and Landing Systems (EDLS) for space applications. From human spaceflight missions to planetary probes, we have extensive experience in a wide range of space technologies—including ballistic and ram-air parachutes, inflatable aerodynamic decelerators (IADs), mid-air retrieval (MAR), and landing attenuation and flotation systems.
