Since 1937, when the company was founded by my father Valentin Knott Sen., the KNOTT concern has developed from a supplier for gearboxes to a worldwide manufacturer of brake and trailer technology. This is because quality has always been our watchword. And because we carry out some tasks manually whilst others are fully automated. But mainly because we give our full attention to the demands of our customers. From a prototype to extra-small-scale production right up to large-scale production, we never rely on simple off the peg solutions, but come up with sustainable solutions. We act in the best interests of our customoers. This, then, is the KNOTT tradition: an ability to solve all solutions in all areas and for all branches.
