About
We Grow Trade
Arkansas offers the world exceptional opportunities and the World Trade Center Arkansas is dedicated to growing bilateral trade for the state by delivering world class services, global connections and export development programs to Arkansas businesses.
By bringing together businesses and government agencies, we build a better world when we connect companies and agriculture producers to foreign markets. We actively promote economic development; we advance trade education; and we provide life-changing opportunities for students in global commerce through our immersive and dynamic internship program.
Our History
The World Trade Center Arkansas was launched in 2007 as the vision of Senator John Boozman and the leadership of University of Arkansas Chancellor John A. White, Jr. Through the collective efforts of the University of Arkansas, Hunt Ventures, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the City of Rogers and the Arkansas Governor's Office, this vision became reality.
The University of Arkansas holds the World Trade Centers Association license, solidifying the World Trade Center Arkansas as a hub of international engagement and catalyst of economic development. This incredible partnership allows the entire world to witness the academic excellence of Arkansas. By promoting the worldwide reach of Arkansas, the World Trade Center Arkansas fulfills the University’s public land grant mission to serve Arkansas and beyond as a resource and a catalyst.
Our alliance with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission strategically positions us to reinforce investment and entrepreneurial projects that promise to give Arkansas a brighter future.
