About
Narma is the world’s first company to commercialize tiltrotor drone technology, pioneering vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAVs capable of high-speed flight, long-range operation, and heavy payload transport. Established with a mission to enhance aerial mobility, NARMA has successfully deployed its UAVs for logistics in remote and coastal regions, gaining valuable operational expertise.
The AF400 is a high-performance VTOL drone originally designed for delivering supplies to remote island areas. Leveraging this proven operational record, NARMA has adapted the AF400 for defense applications, equipping it with Counter-UAS capabilities to detect and neutralize unauthorized or hostile drones.
With a length of 3.5 m, wingspan of 4 m, and height of 1.5 m, the AF400 supports a 20 kg payload, achieves a maximum speed over 150 km/h, and covers distances up to 50 km. The UAV is designed for full VTOL operation, eliminating the need for runways, and is fully domestically produced, including the battery, motor, and FCC.
Engineered for durability, the AF400 meets IPX3 dust and water resistance standards and operates safely in gusts up to 13 m/s, ensuring reliability in demanding environments. At ADEX 2025, NARMA presents the AF400 as a versatile platform for both logistics and defense, embodying the company’s commitment to innovation, reliability, and mission success.
