I have hands-on involvement with API 617 Centrifugal Compressors, API 619 Screw Compressors, and Rotary Lobe Machines. I'm membership in the API 619 taskforce committee as well as ASME PTC-9.

Roots Systems is the leading manufacturer worldwide of oil-free, Rotary Lobe compress, Process Gas blower and Vacuum Booster packages for process applications. Our company can be traced back to the 1930. As a unique feature, our Duragas series are made to comply with API 619 requirements, we have built single stage machines which can generate up to 4.5 bar (65 psid) pressure rise and with regard capacity from 1 m3/hr (0.6 cfm) to 50,000 m3/hr (30,000 cfm) and we can supply them up to 365 bar (5,300 psi) static pressure. Our packages are custom designed, manufactured, assembled and tested in the UK to meet your individual requirements. We have local after sales partner across the globe.
We can comply with the relevant standards of API, ASME, NEMA, AWS and AGMA as well as European and international standards and those of the major oil-and-gas producers.
We can build a machine that can handle any gas, whether it is toxic, corrosive, flammable or radioactive. Equipment can be made suitable for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres. There are numerous options available for sealing and for MOC in accordance to your application. Metal parts can be made in one of the nodular iron, stainless steels or other corrosion-resistant alloys according to ASTM and NACE standards.
