The UAE Space Agency is a federal public authority, established by Federal Decree-Law No. 1 of 2014 regarding the establishment of the UAE Space Agency. The space sector includes all activities, projects and programmes related to outer space above the Earth’s atmosphere.
The decree stipulated that the UAE Space Agency shall be affiliated to the Cabinet, shall have an independent legal personality, shall enjoy financial and administrative independence, and the legal capacity necessary to undertake all actions and transactions that ensure the achievement of its objectives.
