The Air Force Association promotes dominant U.S. Air and Space Forces as the foundation of a strong National Defense, as it has since AFA's founding in 1946. Today, we are the Force Behind the Forces, advocating forcefully for dominant air and space forces; supporting Airmen, Guardians, and their families; and honoring and remembering the forces' shared heritage. Educating the public and fueling healthy dialog among the Air Force, Space Force, industry, academia, and the public are central to AFA's mission, and the driving purpose of the annual Air, Space & Cyber Conference.
