In 2010, Kaiser Aluminum acquired the Nichols Wire 250,000 square foot manufacturing facility and assets
in Northern Alabama. The facility is recognized as the world’s largest, as well as leading manufacturer of bare
mechanical alloy wire products. The plant also produces small diameter Aluminum rod for various applications.
Markets are serviced through direct sales to OEM’s and indirect sales through processors and distributors. Our
broad product range services an active export market. End use markets include transportation, aerospace,
marine, building/construction, consumer durables and electrical. The Quality Assurance Systems and Programs are based on the conditions and quality system requirements stated by ISO 9001 : 2015.
