Transupport
The 4155T12P09 (Triumph PN EMC-102) EDECU is configured as a common supervisory engine control for both T700-GE-701C/D and T700-GE-401C applications. Slated for use by the Army on current field models of Black Hawk helicopters, the control is configured with modern electronics, allowing for a more reliable alternative to the present UH-60 Black Hawk control and is also compatible with the AH-64 Apache. The control unit is qualified to the latest Army requirements for superior operability in adverse environments.

2-170-580-02 (EMC-32T)
Transupport
The 2-170-580-02 (Triumph PN EMC-32T) is a dual channel Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) system, designed for helicopter turboshaft engines. The Electronic Control Unit’s (ECU) primary channel provides precise engine power management and rotor speed control throughout the operational range of the engine. The reversionary backup channel provides full mission capability should a primary system failure occur. The Hydromechanical Unit accurately meters the engine fuel flow commanded by the ECU in both primary and reversionary mode operation. Additional functions provided by the HMU include electrical power generation, compressor air bleed management, and positive engine shutoff.
2-170-700-21 (EMC 100)
Transupport
The 2-170-700-21 (Triumph PN EMC-100) is a sophisticated, low cost, dual channel engine control in a single housing. The unit consists of two dissimilar, mechanically separated channels operating independently, but cooperating with each other. The software is organized in a multi-partition architecture which includes COTS real-time operating and application specific control system software. Most of the software has been developed to RTCA/DO-178B Level A (flight critical standard), but the software architecture permits partitions which perform non-critical functions to be developed to lower levels, thereby reducing life-cycle costs.
