The JaiaBot System includes one to many low cost, high speed, micro sized, aquatic drones called JaiaBots that can collect data rapidly over a wide area providing temporal resolution with synchronous spatial resolution. The JaiaBots can operate autonomously as a multi-vehicle pod or via direct remote control, in tough and challenging conditions such as the surf zone or other highly dynamic environments. They can be launched from the shore or almost any crewed or uncrewed watercraft. The modular JaiaBot architecture enables rapid integration of different sensors and payloads for different applications and use cases with minimal development risk. The open-source software makes the JaiaBot system an excellent candidate for customers with in house or preferred partner engineering teams to integrate with other platforms and or develop new capabilities. A secure cloud-based service provides the ability to store and visualize data, plan missions, operate the systems remotely, and provide operator training without requiring the JaiaBot system to be available at the actual training location. With operator training taking less than 8 hours and minimal maintenance needs, the JaiaBot training program can support rapid adoption for geographically dispersed teams and deployment at scale to meet operational needs.
