Aerial Delivery Marine – MCADS
IrvinGQ Ltd
MCADS Aerial Delivery System – ready for immediate action.
The extractor parachute extracts the load from the aircraft and the boat and platform separate immediately, safely descending to the water under their own parachutes.
The Parachutists land near to the boat in the water and the boat is ready for immediate use upon landing, which can be essential in a hostile environment. In an operational role, the platform sinks without trace, whilst in training, the platform floats for recovery and re-use.
The MCADS System can be used with any proven cargo dropping parachutes of the required capacity. A range of platform configurations can accommodate boats from 21.3 to 39 feet (6.5 to 12m) in length.
System consists of the Platform Rigid Inflatable Boat Aerial Delivery – PRIBAD: Used to airdrop RIB’s from 9m to 12m long.
Platforms are compatible with the following aircraft: C130, C17, C5, A400M and KC390.
MCADS in Service
The IrvinGQ MCADS is a proven complete Aerial Delivery system and is in service in a number of countries worldwide and is fully certified to be air dropped from the following aircraft: All Mks of C130, including the C130J, C17 and C5.
It is also compatible with and capable of being air dropped from the A400M and KC390 aircrafts.

Floating Decoy System (FDS)
IrvinGQ Ltd
IrvinGQ’ FDS3 passive off-board corner reflector floating decoy system is a ship-deployed surface floating passive RF soft kill countermeasure. It has been designed to protect naval ships from RF-seeking missile threats, including modern agile seekers.
FDS3 anti-missile floating decoy system is capable in seduction, distraction, confusion or signature-management roles and is suited to blue-water or littoral operations. Its multi-reflector structure achieves a ship-like Radar Cross Section (RCS) that is greater than the ship, such that a single FDS3 decoy can provide protection for a ship.
FDS3 units are supplied as a complete decoy launch tube assembly in low-RCS launchers, typically in pairs, and may be integrated within the ship’s systems or as a standalone system, with just 8 bolts and a power feed necessary for installation. Should all ship’s power be lost, then FDS3 can still be launched and provide full ship protection. No auxiliary power is required in this mechanical launch mode and no targeting is necessary.
The decoy is completely independent of the ship’s systems and does not require other countermeasures such as jammers to be used in conjunction with it and once FDS3 is launched its operation is automatic and requires no further input from the ship.
FDS3 complements other active and passive soft-kill and hard-kill countermeasures, providing an essential layer of ship defence. Installation is simple, with minimal in-service maintenance requirements, resulting in extremely low through life cost of ownership. FDS3 and its earlier generations have a long in-service record with many leading navies, including the UK Royal Navy and the US Navy.

ATAX® Land
IrvinGQ Ltd
ATAX® is a Modular Multi-Role airdrop system that utilises an airbag shock attenuation system negating the requirement for EDM, significantly reducing rigging and de-rigging times.
Each platform module measures 2.74 m x 2.46 m (108” x 96”) aligning with existing airdrop systems.
ATAX® is compatible with all common Cargo Handling Systems and is suitable for airdrop from the C130, C17, A400M and KC390 aircraft. ATAX® is suitable for use with typical in service cargo parachutes such as G11, G12 and SC15.
In flight procedures align with the most common in service airdrop system reducing training burden.
Vehicles can typically be rigged by four trained personnel in under 30 minutes and de-rigged on the drop zone in less than 10 minutes.
The ATAX® platform can be prepared for airdrop independent of the payload - making it a true Drive-on/Drive-off Vehicle and Heavy Equipment airdrop system.
