Autonomous and unmanned systems bring about the opportunity to take people out of field operations and allow these systems to do the dull and dirty work. Additionally, these systems genuinely save lives, as unmanned systems can do all sorts of dangerous tasks: mine hunting, piracy surveillance and deep-sea survey - the list is endless. L3Harris is among the industry’s most experienced, tested and successful developers, employing the smartest and most agile minds to deliver safe, efficient and reliable solutions. The company's autonomous surface vehicles (ASV) have performed over 2,100 hours at sea without human intervention. In fact, L3Harris has delivered three times more than competitors. This foundation has enabled L3Harris to develop both mission and hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) autonomy, which supports the ASV’s operation at sea without human intervention.
