Description
The Numobag® Disposable Isolation System (N-DIS) is a single use infectious disease containment unit. The unit is portable, easily deployed, and disposable. Its use minimizes exposure to medical and other personnel in contact with infected patients. Infectious patients can be transported through uncontaminated areas and uninfected patients can b transported through contaminated areas.
The isolation efficiency of the N-DIS has been proven at 99.9% and above by the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM). The device uses a High Efficiency Particulate Absorbing (HEPA) filter to remove 99.9% of 0.3 micron particles from the air including bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens.
N-DIS can be used by physicians, nurses, EMTs, first responders, firefighters, and military personnel.
