Aircraft Latch Valves
Valcor Engineering Corporation
Latch valves are solenoid valves that offer bi-stable valve operation by utilizing a permanent magnet to maintain the valve poppet in both the open and closed position while under pressure. This eliminates the need for electrical power to hold the valve open or closed.
Aircraft Relief Valves
Valcor Engineering Corporation
Designed to protect sensitive pneumatic and hydraulic systems from over pressurization, relief valves crack at the desired pressure, and reseat at a much lower, safer system pressure. Adjustable and preset pressures, with customizable crack to reseat pressure ranges are available, along with an extensive range of pressure and flow capacities. Optional outlet porting includes captured-vent or vent to atmosphere construction. Typical applications include protection of potable water pressurization systems, inert gases used for emergency landing gear blow down systems, and emergency braking systems.
Aircraft Pressure Regulators
Valcor Engineering Corporation
Our family of piston-sensed pressure-reducing regulators are available in relieving and non-relieving configurations. For extremely low control pressure applications, bellows-sensed absolute pressure regulators are also offered. A wide range of available elastomer and PTFE soft goods ensure maximum compatibility with the process media.
Military Land Vehicles
Valcor Engineering Corporation
Drawing on Valcor’s vast experience with Aircraft, Missiles and Space applications, Valcor’s approach to valves and custom fluid control systems for Military Land Vehicles comes from a place of incredible strength. With 70 years of experience in aerospace and defense applications, we are well positioned to provide custom engineered solutions for landbased vehicles, too. Designing solenoid valves and custom fluid control systems for land-based vehicles introduces additional, but not insurmountable challenges. Extreme shake, vibration and concussion, exposure to extremely dusty, dirty and wet conditions require highly specialized and robust construction. We design, test, qualify and manufacture valves and systems to exacting customer specifications and compliance with Mil-Spec requirements.
Engine Bleed Air Valves
Valcor Engineering Corporation
Engine bleed air is used for several applications onboard an aircraft. Robustly designed for the high temperatures found in this service, our valves provide dependable control over tens of thousands of flight hours. Applications include systems for engine, wing and tail unit anti-icing, potable water pressurization and environmental control. These valves are also used in conjunction with our line of On-Board Inert Gas Generating Systems (OBIGGS) used for inerting the ullage in fuel tanks.
Aircraft Solenoid Valves
Valcor Engineering Corporation
Our proprietary floating seal is at the heart of many solenoid valve designs in our catalog. In principle, the seal disc is free to float between two optically flat seats, creating a bi-directional gate-style valve that prevents particles from accumulating on the sealing surface of the seats. Every time the valve is actuated, the seal disc wipes across the seat, pushing any particulate out of the way to ensure a tight seal. We also offer a broad selection of traditional poppet-style valves.
Aircraft Check Valves
Valcor Engineering Corporation
Check valves prevent the backflow of process media in hydraulic, fuel and pneumatic systems. Our proprietary technology provides chatter free, stable performance under the most demanding system conditions. They are available in single and redundant valve assemblies. Available soft goods include polymeric or elastomeric seats and seals.

Description
Positive displacement hydraulic accumulators serve as self-contained sources of hydraulic pressure. Our gas-charged piston-based accumulators allow hydraulic systems to quickly respond to changes in pressure demand and can also smooth out pulsation from pumps and other cycling devices up and downstream. Using accumulators often allows for the use of smaller pumps, providing for a lower system weight and footprint. Our innovative design features a hydraulic reservoir made with a proprietary composite fiber wrapping over a thin metal sleeve. This provides for pressure ratings to 3000 PSIG, while saving up to 40% of the weight found in competitive products. Dual piston seals provide for positive separation of the charging gas from the process media.
