Poland's Abrams M1A1 Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) will be equipped with track width mine ploughs and combat dozer blades following a contract awarded to Pearson Engineering.
Pearson will supply 99 kits to be used with 119 Polish Abrams M1A1s being purchased through a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) approved in late 2022 worth US$3.75 billion but included other systems and noted Pearson's involvement. Delivery of the tanks is expected to be completed this year but the country has also ordered 250 Abrams M1A2 SEPv3 tanks.
