AB-U60
Airbility Inc.
The AB-U60 is a 60-kg class vectored-thrust eVTOL aircraft designed for surveillance and emergency logistics. Developed in response to the growing global demand for disaster response and urgent logistics solutions, the AB-U60 can be adapted for a variety of industries, including wildfire monitoring, anti-drone operations, and ship resupply. It combines an advanced fanjet electric propulsion system with a hybrid energy source to achieve high-speed flight and extended endurance.
Airbility’s AB-U60 provides key advantages over competitors, offering high-speed flight of up to 250 km/h and vertical takeoff and landing capabilities for operations in confined spaces. Its low-noise fanjet propulsion system makes it suitable for both urban and suburban missions. The aircraft is also equipped with real-time data analysis and AI-based autonomous flight control systems. These features enable more efficient and safer operations.

Description
Future advanced air mobility (AAM) solutions company Airbility (Co-CEOs Jinmo Lee and TaeKyu Reu) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vietnam’s major conglomerate CT Group, marking the company’s full-scale entry into the Southeast Asian future air mobility market.
The signing ceremony was held on August 12 at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul, during the “Korea-Vietnam High-Level Industrial Cooperation MoU Signing Ceremony”, witnessed by South Korean Prime Minister Minseok Kim and Vietnam Communist Party Secretary To Lam. The event was attended by Jinmo Lee, CEO of Airbility, and Trần Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group, with Philip Park, Co-CEO of KILSA Global, serving as guarantor of the agreement.
Through this cooperation, the two companies will jointly pursue:
Co-development and commercialization of high-speed eVTOL-based UAV platforms
Implementation of AAM technology demonstration projects
Establishment of exclusive distribution networks in Vietnam and key Southeast Asian markets
Joint operation of training programs to cultivate specialized talent, including pilots and maintenance engineers
Detailed execution will be handled by CT UAV, a subsidiary of CT Group and the largest UAV manufacturer in Vietnam, with extensive experience supplying aerospace solutions to both public and private sectors. Under this partnership, CT UAV will produce 5,000 UAVs, including Airbility’s AB-U60, under an OEM model, while taking responsibility for distribution, sales, marketing, customer support, and maintenance.
Airbility plans to leverage this partnership to expand the use of UAVs in Vietnam across high-value applications such as medical, express logistics, and security services. The company will verify product competitiveness through demonstration projects before expanding its business across the ASEAN region.
This partnership was facilitated by KILSA Global, a global business-building company specializing in Southeast Asia. KILSA Global will continue to support Airbility and CT Group in AAM commercialization, including the promotion of demonstration projects and expansion of distribution networks.
Jinmo Lee, CEO of Airbility, stated:
“This collaboration marks a turning point where Korea’s high-speed eVTOL technology is applied directly in the Southeast Asian aviation industry. By combining CT Group’s manufacturing and market-building capabilities with Airbility’s technological expertise, we aim to establish a new global cooperation model to lead the AAM market.”
