Description
The Sprinter 200 is a fully autonomous ducted fan unmanned aerial systems (UAS) with a mobile, vehicle-mountable charging station. This unique and novel docking system permits completely autonomous launch, recovery and replenishment (i.e. automatic charging of batteries without user interaction) of one or many
vehicles without the need for any human interaction. This permits operation of the system completely remote from human involvement. Further, the use of a ducted-fan based propulsion system minimizes risk to nearby users while reducing vehicle maintenance needs all enabling a truly autonomous system that can be deployed and recovered without any interaction or assistance.
