The SULFURTRAP® Skid-Mounted Adsorbent Vessel System treats H₂S and light mercaptans in a lead-lag configuration creating an uninterrupted cycle for maintaining efficiency. It is specifically designed to remove the maximum amount of H₂S and light mercaptans using SULFURTRAP® media.

Description
SULFURTRAP® Skid-Mounted Vessel System has two vertical pressure vessels in lead-lag configuration. The sour stream is fed to the top section of the lead vessel passing through both vessels as in a series arrangement. Once the adsorbent in the lead vessel has been exhausted, the sour feed is redirected to only flow through the lag vessel loaded with fresh adsorbent. The lead vessel is then placed off-line to perform an adsorbent change-out. Finally, when the fresh adsorbent is loaded in the original lead vessel, the gas flow is reverted with the original lag vessel becoming the new lead vessel.
