Teledyne Marine Slocum G3s Glider
Teledyne Marine
The Slocum glider produced by Teledyne Webb Research is the genesis of all present ocean gliders. Slocum gliders carry the largest number and greatest variety of payloads of any glider AUV and is designed to be a sensor platform with a dry modular center payload bay. Wetted bays in the bow and stern provide more opportunities for sensor loading. This modularity along with the energy efficient buoyancy propulsion system provides the Slocum with a most flexible system for integrating sensors for optimal ocean observation.
The Slocum glider is buoyancy driven to enable long range and duration remote water column observation for military applications and can be deployed and recovered from any size vessel with minimal time on station.
Once deployed, it can easily be controlled from anywhere through web-based piloting tools. This allows fleets of gliders to be operated remotely with minimal personnel and infrastructure.

Gavia AUV
Teledyne Marine
A self-contained, low logistics, modular survey platform capable of delivering high quality data while operating from vessels of opportunity or from the shore. The AUV's innovative modular design allows for swift reconfiguration between dives. Its unparalleled ease of use and exceptional versatility make it a standout in the market. The Gavia AUV system excels in performing a wide range of tasks without compromising on performance or data quality.
Endurance: Dependent on speed and exact configuration. Typical defense configuration 7-8 hours at 3 knots per rechargeable battery module. Typically, 5-6 hours at 3 knots per rechargeable battery module with all sensors (including swath bathymetry). Vehicle can be operated with up to 3 batteries for increased endurance or batteries can be field swapped for continuous operations.
Navigation: High accuracy DGPS ready receiver
High-precision DVL-aided Inertial Navigation System (INS) with Teledyne RDI Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) and direct sound velocity meter.
Positioning accuracy can be maintained over longer duration deployments by utilizing Ultra Short Baseline (USBL).
