Missile
LeFiell Manufacturing Company
Missile Cases LeFiell has the complete facilities to manufacture missile cases by two major processes: Roll-Flo and Forming. Roll-Flo is a modern age, high production chipless machining process through the plastic deformation of metal by coaxial rolling over a hardened mandrel. Drawing and Forming is performed in a variety of hydraulic presses up to 3250 ton capacity.

RotoDraw
LeFiell Manufacturing Company
Our proprietary "RotoDraw" tube-forming process was developed and perfected by LeFiell to support the quality standards required to manufacture nozzle coolant tubes for liquid fuel rocket engines. This tapered draw process can produce tubing configurations from .080" - 2.00" diameter and from .006" - .030" wall over lengths of up to 10-feet.

Liquid Thrust Chamber Coolant Tubes LeFiell pioneered, designed and produced the first equipment and developed a process called Roto-Draw to produce thrust chamber tubes for our space programs. Roto-Draw's ability to hold dimensional accuracies has not been equaled by any other known tube tapering process.
Swaging

LeFiell has the capability to both swage and rotary forge countless tubing configurations and solid bar stock. Whether your needs require the precision swaging of needle-size tubing, the complex contour and variable-wall forming of tubes up to 5 inches i n diameter, or the rotary forging of tubes as large as 18 inches in diameter, LeFiell is fully capable of meeting your objectives.

LeFiell has a 3250 ton press and facilities to perform heat treating and rough machining operations. We have one of the largest and most modern facilities producing gas turbine engine shafts in the world. Our facilities allows us to perform upsetting, expanding, flaring, backward extruding, swaging and Roll-Flo (chipless) forming.
Swaging Machines
LeFiell Manufacturing Company
Control Rods, Struts and Braces LeFiell's swaging machines can swage tubing from almost needle size to 18" diameter and solid bar up to 4.50" diameter. Induction heating equipment is utilized when necessary. LeFiell has the inhouse capabilities to manufacture control rods, struts and braces. These processes include swaging, Roll-Flo, heat treating and machining.
