The Missouri Department of Economic Development administers the Missouri State Trade Expansion Program=Unlimited Possibilities (MO STEP=UP) grant program, funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The goal of the MO STEP=UP Program is to increase the number of Missouri small businesses that export, the dollar value of exports, and the number of Missouri small businesses exploring significant new trade opportunities. We also administer the Global Market Access Program (GMAP), a cost-share program that allows eligible Missouri companies to participate in specific events designed to create export sales.

The International Trade and Investment Team includes trade specialists throughout the State of Missouri. We coordinate with our foreign office network to support Missouri companies with doing business in global markets.
