About
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is the world leader in unmanned aerial systems. With more than nine million flight hours, 1,200+ proven aircraft, and 30+ years of innovation, GA-ASI stands as the leading designer and producer of proven, reliable Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) systems, radars, and electro-optic and related mission systems, including the iconic Predator® aircraft series.
GA-ASI’s family of aircraft spans more than two dozen aircraft variants, including the MQ-9 Reaper®, Gray Eagle®, Avenger®, the MQ-9B SkyGuardian® and SeaGuardian®, the XQ-67A Off-Board Sensing Station, jointly developed with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, and the YFQ-42A Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA). The company’s short takeoff and landing solutions, which includes Mojave STOL, have set numerous performance records in the most austere environments, including dirt takeoff and landings, operations from the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, and in-air live-fire tests. Its next-generation Gambit Series of jet-powered CCA is a force multiplier that leverages a common core chassis tailored to mission requirements and partners with warfighters in the air to give them a decisive edge in situational awareness deep within the battlespace.
GA-ASI aircraft are being operated by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, NASA, the Italian Air Force, the U.K. Royal Air Force, the Belgian Air Force, the Royal Netherlands Air Force, the French Air Force, the Spanish Air Force, the Japan Coast Guard, and the UAE Armed Forces. They are also serving Poland and India through lease operations in support of maritime law enforcement, national security, and search and rescue.
