In 2014, Sniper Drilling Motors established a 34,000 square foot facility dedicated to servicing and maintaining drilling motors. The state-of-the-art center is equipped with overhead cranes, hydraulic vices, and breakout machines, and exceeds industry standards for lighting, ventilation, and hydrocarbon disposal. Capable of operating around the clock, the shop's skilled mechanics adhere to Sniper's in-house ISO-compliant procedures. Meticulous records on all parts are maintained in the OASIS tracking system. Parts are tracked from incoming inspection of materials through final manufacturing allowing for proactive replacement before reaching their designed life cycle.

Sniper drilling motors has 3 designs: SNIPER CONVENTIONAL MOTOR; SNIPER HT MOTOR; SNIPER PERFORMANCE MOTOR. In addition to our standard motor line, we also manufacture customized motors and subassemblies based on our customer's unique specifications.
Our rotors are machined using the highest grade of steel and the industry standard Weingärtner milling machines. Meanwhile, our stators are made using industry-standard tubes and injected with standard HNBR, our unique hard rubber, or Sniper high-temperature rubber. We can also inject elastomer from other customer-specified suppliers to meet specific job requirements.

IAE offers latest model of Gyro that, featuring 3-axis solid-state sensors, is specifically designed for use in harsh conditions such as high shock, vibration, and temperature environments. Its ruggedness, accuracy, and reliability are unparalleled, and it doesn't require regular calibrations. With a North seeking time of just 30 seconds, it can measure the earth's rotation and gravity fields with precision.
In addition to its solid-state sensors, our gyro boasts a dual system that includes both stable platform and strap-down inertial navigation, as well as proprietary Adaptive Roll Technology. This advanced system provides high roll tolerance and allows for surveying speeds of up to 200m/min. The Gyro's powerful Kalman Filtering also leads to dramatically improved reliability and accuracy.

IAE International was incorporated in the state of Texas in 2011 with support of its sister company Integrated Applications Engineering which was incorporated in the state of Texas in 1985. The primary focus of IAE International was to design and manufacture oil well drilling motors for rental and sales to the directional drilling companies through its subsidiary “Sniper Drilling Motors”. Sniper maintains a Houston support base to supply parts and services to its 200 motor rental fleet as well as over 300 motors purchased by North and South American customers. In 2014 Sniper constructed a 34,000 square foot purpose built drilling motor shop on six acres conveniently located in North Houston near Bush airport. The shop is equipped with four breakout machines, two overhead cranes, two hydraulic vices, two jib cranes and a complete compliment of state of the art instruments for quality control. The facility also houses the engineering support staff which provides quality assurance of the Sniper standard line of drilling motors as well as additional projects, Sniper also designs customized drilling motors and components per customer needs. This manufacturing flexibility, coupled with superior expertise can accommodate our customer’s strict and demanding needs.
