GENEVA—Lilium debuted the Pioneer Edition mockup of its Lilium Jet electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing (eVTOL) aircraft at EBACE.
The Pioneer Edition aircraft interior and maintenance services will be limited to the initial 50 Lilium Jets as it targets the high-end travel market.

Air-Dynamic, a Swiss private jet and helicopter company, signed an agreement for up to five Lilium Jets which will give customers access to the Pioneer. It will operate those jets for customers in Switzerland and Italy.

The Pioneer Edition will sell for about $10 million, costing more than the premium which will be priced up to $8 million and the shuttle version at around $7 million, according to Lilium executives.
Lilium CEO Klaus Roewe says first deliveries will commence in 2025 or early 2026.
“While our objective is clearly the mass market,” says Sebastien Borel, Lilium's chief commercial officer, Lilium wants to start in the premium market. Eventually the company sees the Lilium Jet being used widely for point-to-point connections where congestion, terrain and/or water are barriers because they make travel longer.
